I took a walk around my neighbourhood today and saw some
pretty neat stuff

My turn to pollute

I live a pretty enviro-friendly live at home: recycle, reuse, attempt to buy the products with less packaging, etc. I have no car and walk or transit every where. But what about those up-coming plane trips?

I read in The Independant that:

The average jumbo jet pumps one ton of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere for every passenger it carries from London to New York.

Me and family are flying across the Atlantic and back for 6 tons -- oops. Sorry, environment.

One month to go

I leave for my trip in almost exactly a month. Its taken a lotta waiting. Leave on Feb 13.
